April 16th

Spring is finally here and it is so nice to be enjoying this fantastic weather.  On Wednesday for Forest Fun and Learning we read a great book called Swirl by Swirl.  We then went on a shape hunt of all the natural shapes we could find in the forest and afterwards made a variety of shapes using natural objects we found. Thursday we started our final courage projects using modeling clay (like Barbara Reid!!) to create a scene of us using our courage!  The students are so creative and enjoying this art!  We will show you pictures of our final projects!  

We are so lucky that Fairview has an amazing PAC and they are currently doing two main fundraisers. Reminders:

Monday, April 19th is green day!  If possible children should wear green to support Earth Day and our leadership students!
