Div. 11 has been a very small class so far this week, as you are aware Fairview unfortunately has cases of covid and exposures. You should have recieved a letter from Fraser Health that our class should be self-monitoring regularly. This means checking temperature and doing the daily health check-list on our website. It is crucial that we are all deligent in taking all safety precautions that we can. Hopefully things will settle down very soon.
If your child is at home and you'd like some activities and school work please check out the Fairview Library link which I have added to our Useful Links. Also there you will see Raz Kids, Epic and K-5 Math worksheets. Of course you should continue to read and write daily.
Next week we will be starting our Scientist of the Day. Please see in the email the attachments of instructions, date each child presents and also the papers for the experiment that your child should complete. Obviously we will be flexible with dates with our recent situation.
We also have a special Library 'Zoom fieldtrip'. Each child has a paper that was sent home (or will be sent home) to enable every child to get a library card so they are ready and hopefully join the Fraser Valley Summer Reading Program. Please return this form ASAP.
Club RED has continued and the students are really enjoying reading outside as well as our Mystery Readers. Last week our special reader was Natalie's mom, a lunch hour supervisor. We are guessing who it will be tomorrow! Hopefully everyone is reading each day and enjoying new adventures or learning new facts! Don't forgot about the Fariview Book Mark contest, these could be completed at home I have the blank bookmarks here that they can pick up.
Memory Book $10, please pay on the parent portal as soon as possible.
Don't forget to check out the link for our courage collection projects...
This is the thank you we made to Brook at Me & Eds for donating the pizza boxes for our courage projects. The creators were... Avin, Natalie, Neena, Niki, Neena, and Tatum!
They did an awesome job.
